Tencent Cloud Summer Internship - Help new members to navigate the Tea Design System

In the summer of 2020, I interned at the Tencent Cloud Shenzhen office as an experience design intern. Our team is mainly responsible for the cloud console, the design system, and the cloud WeChat mini-programs. During the internship, I designed the DNSPod WeChat mini-program, the safety and compliance dashboard, and the TEA Design System website, which is my main project.
/ Why?
The TEA Design system is important to Tencent Cloud because we offer a large number of products for business scenarios across various industries, from China gateway and gaming to e-commerce and more. With complex scenarios, designers and developers often need to respond fast due to frequent changes in every day R & D workflow. We need a design system, aiming for consistent interaction patterns and efficient R&D flow, helping designers save time to focus on investigating the deeper needs of our users.

Improve the TEA Design System Website.
TEA Design SIte is still in the early stage and only available for internal use. It is just a barebone structure now. We to improve the site for new users to get on board easily and for daily users to look up content efficiently.
/ Outcome
Designed a homepage to quickly introduce our design system and direct users with different roles to the content they need.
Designed component overview page for new users to quickly find the component they are looking for through visual thumbnails.
Redesigned the content layout and added page anchors to help users find content on a lengthy page.
